LAST FEW DAYS LEFT TO ENTER THE NORTH MISSISSAUGA SOCCER CLUB COMPETITIVE TRIALS

Registrations are open for the last two sessions scheduled on Sept 28 and Oct 5 for U13-U18

Mississauga, 24th Sept 2019: The city’s not-for-profit community, North Mississauga Soccer Club (NMSC) that began its trials/try-outs at the competitive level on 14 September will soon draw close to its conclusion. It is accepting registrations from soccer enthusiasts U13-U18 (Boys & Girls) for its remaining slots on Sept 28 and Oct 5. The trials will be inclusive of competitive players for all-levels, including Ontario Player Development League (OPDL), Golden Horseshoe Soccer League (GHSL), and Peel Halton Development League (PHDL) teams.

The club, staying true to its value of providing an opportunity to all players to pursue soccer, is inviting participation from everyone that fulfills the criteria irrespective of their skills or experience. The trials conducted for the U8-U12 in the past week received an overwhelming response that brought in over 400 registrations at NMSC for both Rep and OPDL competitive programs combined. The North Mississauga Soccer Club is looking forward to fill more slots with the conclusion of the on-going identification sessions. With the onset of the fresh season and renewed teams, the club is also gearing up to announce some well-known names within the soccer community who are joining the coaching squad this 2019/2020 Indoor Season. These experts will form an integral part of NMSC’s mission of dedicating to the development of well-balanced, successful players at the competitive level.

Speaking about the positive response received so far for the trials, Joe Alves (NMSC President), said, “The North Mississauga Soccer Club has been elated to receive a huge response from the soccer community and locals alike. We have witnessed an increase in the number of players adding to the different teams at NMSC compared to the previous year. We realize that there is a lot of potential in the aspiring young candidates, and we are here to give them that platform to hone their skills and be ready to go out there and play at the level that is best suited for their development. We look forward to seeing more passionate players attending the remainder of the upcoming trials and become a part of our community.”
