May 6 to 12 is Mental Health Week – a call to be kind and support our loved ones, friends and neighbours
This Mental Health Week, led by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), the City of Mississauga would like to encourage all residents to practice compassion by not only acknowledging suffering, but by actively demonstrating care and kindness.

City springs into maintenance and cleanup season
During the winter, Mississauga’s roads, infrastructure, parks and trails are exposed to harsh and messy weather. This time of year, residents can expect to see City crews completing annual spring maintenance and cleanup work to tidy up Mississauga’s shared spaces and keep everyone moving safely.

By-election for Ward 5 Councillor to take place on June 10, 2024
In accordance with legislation, when a seat becomes vacant at this point in the term of office, a by-election can be held to fill the vacancy. In Mississauga, the vacancy was created by the resignation of former Ward 5 Councillor, Carolyn Parrish, which took effect on March 15, 2024.
