In order to engage with the visitors to our digital properties, each is complemented by a variety of social media accounts.
Each property has it's own Twitter account. Links to content items are Tweeted to the account's followers -- allowing for both immediate engagement as well as driving Web traffic to the site.
All of our properties also has a corresponding Paper.li 'newspaper' (which aggregates content from those we follow on Twitter) and their own Flipboard magazine featuring Mississauga, Port Credit, Streetsville or Clarkson.
Engagement with our visitors and promotion of site content and events is something we do on a daily basis.
Custom social media campaigns are available, with pricing dependent on scope and duration.

The @mymississauga Twitter account was launched in June, 2009. Since that time the account has gained 8,650 followers and published 33.9K Tweets and RTs*.
The account is primarily utilised to promote content from our mymississauga.ca property and to drive Web traffic to the site.
With the October, 2015 launch of the new mymississauga.ca site, all new articles published are automatically posted to the site's Twitter account and Facebook page.
A live feed of the @mymississauga account can be found to the right.

In April, 2010 my missy mag joined Facebook and began to post and share content relating to Arts & Entertainment, Food & Drink, Lifestyle and Sports.
One of the first items posted to the page was a staff photo taken of Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins and friends (Chuck Jackson and Donnie Walsh of Downchild) at the 2010 Southside Shuffle. (Watch the moment here and see if you can spot our photog in front of the stage)
Since then the page has been utilised to post and share content and to drive Web traffic to our mymississauga.ca property.
We like Instagram and make use of it to not only post pictures in and around Mississauga but also posters for upcoming events in the city.
Pinterest is another favourite of ours owing to its graphical nature. We've got 'boards' aligned both geographically (Port Credit, Streetsville, Clarkson, City Centre) and topically -- for example 'Listen Up' is where we put anything to do with #LiveMusic in town.
Since we joined Pinterest we've posted close to 500 pins on our 23 boards -- the vast majority of which originated on (and link back to) one of our properties.
Pinterest offers an excellent way in which to promote content of a graphical nature and to drive Web traffic.
It's odd that we've listed Paper.li last as it's one of our all time favourites. If you haven't met it, Paper.li lets you create your own 'newspaper' into which content of your choosing is aggregated.
Each time the paper is published Paper.li automatically sends out a Tweet on the corresponding Twitter account. When Port Credit Today comes out the Tweet comes from the @portcreditdotca account.
Credit is given to the accounts selected for inclusion which can lead to the 'retweeting' of the post and further distribution.
