It's Mississauga Waterfront Festival time again and they've snagged themselves a great opening act.
Bedouin Soundclash takes to the MWF Main Stage Friday night at 9:30pm.The 2010 Mississauga Waterfront Festival lands in Port Credit this Friday night with a loud Clash.
The gates open at 5pm with the annual Fest wrapping up Sunday night at 6pm. And in between there's certainly no shortage of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Friday night Vancouver's Leela Gilday starts things off. Born and raised in Yellowknife, Leela's acoustic folk style won her a Juno Award in 2007. Leela is followed by Edmonton bluesman Michael Rault who recently performed at the Vancouver Olympics.
Opening night concludes with Toronto's multiple Juno nominatee Bedouin Soundclash.
On Saturday, Toronto's The Sadies kick things off. Somewhere between "indie rock" and "alternative county" the band has collaborated with the likes of Blue Rodeo and The Tragically Hip. At the MWF they'll be opening for Blue Rodeo frontman Jim Cuddy.
