Legendary guitarist JOHNNY WINTER to headline the Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival Memorial Park Main Stage Sunday, September 12th, 2010, 5:30 pm.

One of the most respected singers and guitar players, JOHNNY WINTER is best known for his Southern Blues and Rock ‘n Roll style.  Rolling Stone Magazine named Johnny Winter as one of the top 100 Guitarists of All Time and he’s coming to MISSISSAUGA.

During the ’70s and ’80s, Johnny Winter was the unofficial torch-bearer for the blues, championing and aiding the careers of his idols like Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker. Johnny Winter produced two Grammy Award winning albums for Waters and three Grammy nominated albums of his own.
