Ballroom With a Twist is coming to Mississauga's Living Arts Centre on April 14.

Former contestants from So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars will perform in the fast-paced ballroom show.

"It's just such a great combination of all the dance styles combined into one. It's going to be a real mix of everything," said Rob Hsrt, marketing director for Living Arts Centre. "People will enjoy a fast-paced show with a lot of athleticism."

The show has been touring in the U.S. for two years. The Living Arts Centre is the only venue in Ontario hosting the show in 2012.

The cast includes Tadd Gadduang, Legacy and Randi Lynn Strong, all from So You Think You Can Dance.

"If you enjoy all the traditional styles of dancing, it's very active," said Hart.

American Idol finalists David Hernandez and Gina Glocksen will be singing during the show.

"You'll probably see a more lively show because the cast is going to be there for 90 minutes performing in front of a live audience. So it'll be wild," Hart said.

The program is choreographed by Louis Van Amstel, who has been on all 12 seasons of Dancing With the Stars.

It will feature hip-hop, Broadway, the samba, waltz, foxtrot, quickstep and jive.

"There are many different styles, so there is something for everyone. They will enjoy the show because of all the great music and stars," Hart said.

Roberts finished third with Marie Osmond on Dancing With The Stars and he's also danced with Heather Mills, Macy Gray, Belinda Carlisle and tennis player Monica Seles.

This show will benefit the community, Hart said.

"When you look at a facility like the Living Arts Centre, our objective is to put arts and entertainment out into the community and those who enjoy those particular types of styles," he said.

Ballroom With a Twist shows on April 14 and will be at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets cost $40.
