Heritage Mississauga presents the annual Mayoral Heritage Luncheon on Tuesday June 26th at the historic Glen Erin Inn, featuring keynote speaker John Tory, radio presenter & Chair of CivicAction concerned with the redevelopment of Ontario Place. Join us as John reflects on his thoughts concerning heritage, lessons learned and why heritage and the fight to preserve it, is so important.
Founded in 1960, Heritage Mississauga, a not-for-profit charity, is one of Canada's most respected charitable organizations devoted to civic heritage. The only independent, city-wide organization devoted to heritage matters, its mission is to research, record and communicate Mississauga's heritage. Funds raised from this luncheon will support Heritage Mississauga's "Heritage Resource Centre" located at the Robinson-Adamson House "The Grange."
"Heritage, Lessons Learned" will be held at the historic Glen Erin Inn, 1695 The Collegeway on Thursday June 26th, 2012 from 11.30am until 1.30pm. This event is sponsored by Rogers Cable Television.
