The Square One Shopping Centre and Scarborough Town Centre locations will open their doors to the Canadian public on August 13, 2010. A third store at Mapleview Shopping Centre will open October 2010. HOT TOPIC's easy-to-use online store already ships to all provinces across the country including Quebec.

HOT TOPIC is excited to announce their first in-store Canadian event, as the Scarborough Town Centre location will host an autograph signing with rock icons Disturbed on Wednesday, August 25 from 3PM-5PM. Following the signing, Disturbed, along with Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Halestrom, Hellyeah, and Airbourne will perform at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre as a part of The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival (www.rockstaruproar.com/toronto). With the purchase of any Disturbed t-shirt or a pre-order of their upcoming CD, a limited number of fans can obtain a wristband that grants them access to meet the band. Wristbands will be available at both the Square One Shopping Centre and Scarborough Town Centre HOT TOPIC locations starting Aug.13, 2010.
