Niagara opened the scoring for the third time in as many games at the Hershey Centre this season when Steven Shipley beat Tyson Teichmann for his 20th goal of the season from the right circle at 18:03.

Mississauga recorded the first four shots of the game, but Oshawa struck first when Scott Sabourin beat Spencer Martin five hole from below the circle to give the Generals the lead. Scott Laughton extended the Generals lead to two on the power play less than a minute later.
