Farm life is distant when war looms

There's a horse on stage... I thought as the play started, and it certainly did look 100% real. War horse was more than a story or a intriguing plot brought to life on stage. It was hands down the best show I've ever seen. And that's quite a statement as I've seen many, many shows.

Students from five Peel District School Board secondary schools will perform at the Central Regional Showcase from April 18 to 21 as part of the 66th annual Sears Ontario Drama Festival. This showcase highlights a total of 11 outstanding productions from across Peel region which will take place at the Meadowvale Theatre in Mississauga.

Stage West has a new show that aims to get audiences All Shook Up.

Set to the music of Elvis Presley, the play takes place in a small town in Kansas in 1955. It tells the story of Chad, a guitar-playing roustabout, who shakes things up by showing people how to have fun and by the end of the show five couples unite.

MISSISSAUGA: The students of Liberty Junction Theatre Company Inc. are preparing to take the stage at the Maja Prentice Theatre in Mississauga, where they will be performing Seussical Jr., while raising funds for orphans in Haiti.

Liberty Junction will be donating concession & flower proceeds from the production to the Chricha Orphanage, in Port-au-Prince that is caring for 53 children who were affected by the earthquake, where Liberty Junction's Creative Director has visited.
