Page Top Banner Advertisement

This standard sized 728 pixel (wide) by 90 pixel (tall) "Leaderboard" banner advertisement appears above the content on every page on mymississauga.ca.

The cost for this location is $15 per 1,000 impressions¹ (CPM) with a 10,000 impression minimum purchase ($150) per site.

Volume Discount

A 25% discount is offered on the purchase of 50,000 or more impressions.

¹ Impression refers to the display of your advertisement in the area chosen.  All campaigns are weighted equally and the available page views are distributed evenly between all active banners.

Corner "Page Peel" Unit

This unique triangular shaped location has a viewable size of approximately 450px by 450px by 636px (diagonal) when open and approximately 50px by 50px by 71px (diagonal) when closed.

The unit appears on the top right corner on every page on mymississauga.ca and is sold only on an exclusive (100% SOV) basis.

When a visitor first lands on any page the page 'peels' back to reveal your advertisement.  The area remains open for five seconds during which the entire viewable area is displayed.  The complete area is clickable and may be linked to your desired Web address.  After five seconds the 'peeled' corner of the page returns to the closed position after which the smaller region remains visible.  While closed the corner of the page makes a slight waving motion to attract attention.  Should the site visitor mouse-over the corner of the page the larger region re-opens.

The cost for the location is $20 per 1,000 impressions² (CPM) with a 20,000 impression minimum purchase ($400) per site.

A 25% discount is offered on the purchase of 50,000 or more impressions.

Multi-Site Discount

In addition to mymississauga.ca, we operate clarkson.ca, portcredit.ca and streetsville.ca and are pleased to offer a discount for campaigns run on multiple sites.

Two Site Campaign - 5% Discount
Three Site Campaign - 10% Discount
Four Site Campaign - 15% Discount

The multi-site discount is calculated after the applicable volume discount has been applied.

Please note that there is a 10,000 impression minimum purchase per site for banner advertisements and a 20,000 impression minimum purchase per site for the corner page peel area.

Double Dipping Is Allowed!

The volume purchase and multi-site discounts will both be applied on multi-site campaigns of at least 50,000 impressions.

All Purchases Include

• Creation of your banner (if required) to your specification subject to dimensions as indicated above. File size not to be larger than 20kb.
• Linking of your banner to your Web site or other location specified by you.
• Full online access to real-time statistics on your campaign, including the number of ad views (impressions) and ad clicks.³
  
• Campaign status reports (ad views and ad clicks) sent to you by email at the frequency you specify.³
• Downloadable campaign reports, easily imported into your favourite spreadsheet program³
• Creation of a new banner (if desired) on renewal.

With the arrival of WordPress 3.0 it became possible to host multiple blogs with one installation of the WordPress software.  And that's precisely what we've done.

Since everything is running off one WordPress installation, keeping things completely up-to-date is a one click process.  And adding WordPress themes, plug-ins and Widgets couldn't be easier.

And with us hosting them right here on mymississauga.ca there's absolutely no need for you to have your own Web hosting company.
