The Credits, a Celebration of Cultural Heritage

On November 5, 2015 in the presence of a sellout crowd, The Credits Heritage Mississauga Awards honoured members of the Mississauga community for their contributions and achievements with a celebration of our community heritage.

“Heritage is so important to us as individuals and as families and it should be important to us as a community.  Knowing and understanding our past sets a solid foundation which will help us move forward and Mississauga’s cultural heritage is so richly diverse, it’s exciting to celebrate it.  The city has grown from a large diaspora of people from all parts of the world and Heritage Mississauga is at the forefront of preserving and communicating all peoples’ heritage for generations to come.” said Event Chair Jake Dheer, Director of Heritage Mississauga and Senior Manager for Rogers TV and OMNI Television and former Citizen of the Year.
