Celebrity Chef Brings His Unique Approach to Indian Fine Dining to the Greater Toronto Area

This fall, Indian celebrity chef, Ranveer Brar will open his first five-star restaurant in Canada. Already India’s youngest executive chef, Brar has opened more than 20 restaurants throughout the world, including the famous Banq Restaurant in Boston. Having worked in some of the most exclusive international restaurant kitchens, Chef Brar is bringing his unique approach to Indian fine dining to Brampton, Ontario with the launch of Mayura by Chef Ranveer Brar.

“I believe that food has to be an experience,” says Chef Ranveer Brar. “With each of my restaurants, I try to take into consideration the culture and surroundings of the location. Only by doing this can I holistically create and plate a menu that excites the diners’ senses. That’s one of the reasons I’m visiting before we open Mayura later this year.”

In addition to his wide-ranging restaurant experience, Chef Brar is also the host of multiple television shows in India, including: Breakfast Xpress, Snack Attack, Homemade, The Great Indian Rasoi, Health Bhi Taste Bhi, Ranveer’s Cafe, Food Tripping and Thank God It’s Fryday. Brar is also a judge on Master Chef India.

Mayura by Chef Ranveer Brar will be located in Brampton near highway 10 and the 407. If all goes according to plan, Brar hopes that the official opening of the restaurant will take place later this fall.
