ERIN MILLS TOWN CENTRE LAUNCHES UNIQUE INDOOR GOLF EXPERIENCE

Shoppers can “hit the links” at THE GREEN for a round of family fun 

Erin Mills Town Centre is pleased to invite Mississauga shoppers to enjoy its newest interactive attraction, THE GREEN, a one of kind 9-hole miniature golf course located in centre court.

 “This is a true mini golf experience” explains Francesca Bourré, Erin Mills Town Centre’s Marketing Director.  “THE GREEN offers rolling hills, varied turfs and fun breaks that will offer a new experience each time.”

The course’s putting greens are designed to approximately 1/10th the scale of a regulation golf course in partnership with golf pro Dave Pelz.  Pelz is considered an expert and has published writing on the art of the short game, in particular putting.  Pelz was named by Golf Digest magazine as one of the 25 most influential instructors of the 20th Century.

THE GREEN AT ERIN MILLS TOWN CENTRE

For a budget friendly cost of admission ($5 general admission, $3 seniors), golfers will enjoy a unique activity that is challenging and fun for all skill levels, conveniently located within the shopping centre.  THE GREEN will be open from 12pm-8pm on weekdays and 11am-5pm on weekends. 

A variety of perks will be offered while THE GREEN is in place such as themed activities, prizes, free treats and more.  Daily offers and group deals are also available.

Mississauga residents are invited to join THE GREEN’s Grand Opening on Thursday, February 6 at 11am to enjoy: 

  • Play & Win– Best score of the day wins a $500 Gift Card plus Erin Mills Town Centre will donate 
    $500 to Mississauga ErinoakKids which provides support and care to children with a wide range of physical and/or developmental disabilities
  • Shop & Putt – receive a free round of golf with every $50 purchase from that week  
  • Free $10 Food Court gift card to the first 100 groups to complete a round
  • Complimentary green refreshments at the 9th hole (sponsored by Freshii)

ERIN MILLS TOWN CENTRE RECYCLING EVENT

Mississauga residents can celebrate Earth Day and help reduce waste by joining Erin Mills Town Centre for its Recycling Event running from Friday, April 20th to Sunday, April 22nd. The event will take place at Erin Mills Town Centre and will feature e-waste and garment collection.

Individuals are invited to recycle any unwanted electronics from their homes by donating them through the shopping centre’s e-waste collection areas. Additionally, Erin Mills Town Centre will be partnering with H&M for garment collection, featuring an exciting promotion.

E-Waste Collection

Customers will receive a FREE* $10 Erin Mills Town Centre Gift Card with each donation (first 30 visitors daily.) Small appliances, TVs, cellphones and other electronics will be accepted. Collection located in the parking lot, near Entrance “A.”

H&M Garment Collection

Customers can expect $10 off their next purchase at H&M with the donation of unwanted garments and home textiles in all condition, to the H&M Garment Collecting Box in Centre Court.

Plus, families can enjoy a FREE green themed craft session from 10am-4pm on Saturday, April 21st.

ERIN MILLS TOWN CENTRE INVITES FAMILIES TO JOIN THEM AT THE SPRING INTO ACTION SPORTS AND CAMPS SHOW

Erin Mills Town Centre is pleased to participate in the 25th Annual Sports Week Celebrations in Mississauga. Community residents are invited to discover a variety of sporting and healthy lifestyle activities at Erin Mills Town Centre at its ‘Spring into Action’ Sports and Camp Show. Engaging displays and activities will take place on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, from 10am to 5pm, located on the lower level of the shopping centre.

“The Sports & Camps Show is all part of Erin Mills Town Centre’s ongoing commitment to encourage the community to get active, enjoy life and live healthier,” states Francesca Bourré, Erin Mills Town Centre’s Marketing Director. “We’re really looking forward to meeting people from the community and helping them find ways to participate in all the great programs available to them in Mississauga.”

A healthy lifestyle begins with regular physical activity, and Erin Mills Town Centre looks forward to bringing both children and adults from the area together to discover the array of health-focused (and fun!) local community programming.

Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions from knowledgeable experts and sign up for sports programs, while enjoying exciting displays, demonstrations, fun interactive activities, a photo booth and a chance to win great prizes.

In addition to discovering Mississauga’s range of sports programs and activities, guests can also look forward to meeting with local Olympians and Mississauga Sports Hall of Famers who will be on site.

Mississauga Residents Are Invited to Enjoy Free Family Fun All Summer Long!

Erin Mills Town Centre has been hosting an array of exciting FREE, family focused activities throughout July, and starting on August 4th, there will be a new lineup of fun for Mississauga residents to take part in!

With unique and engaging activities going on throughout the month, there is something for every kid (and parent) to take part in at Erin Mills Town Centre!

The August calendar is as follows:

MOVIE AND POPCORN FRIDAYS – August 4, 11, 18, 11am start: Kids can watch a popular movie and receive a free popcorn treat! Movie features will be Moana, Sing and Smurfs 2 – The Lost Village.

CAMPFIRE SHOW – August 5, 12, 12pm & 2pm: Visitors can take part in a Campfire Sing-A- Long & Storytelling, a true Canadian tradition!

RADICAL REPTLE SHOW – August 19, 2pm: Join Safari Science as they teach us about a selection of cute reptiles and critters! Visitors will have the chance to meet and greet the animals after the presentation.

Make a wish – Grant a Wish at Erin Mills Town Centre

For the next year the new infinity fountain at Erin Mills Town Centre is taking wishes – for Eden Food for Change.

Lots of people, especially children, like to toss coins into a fountain and make a wish. It’s a fun thing for people to do. Now those wishes will actually have a multiplying effect as Eden Food for Change (EFFC) has been selected as the designated charity for all the coins tossed into the fountain for the next year.

With people throwing coins of varying donations, they do add up to have a greater impact. Since June, EFFC has already received $259. This is impactful because when the organization receives financial donations they can buy the food that is needed such as healthy fresh food like eggs, milk and fruits and vegetables. Also, when they have to purchase non-perishable items they can stretch that dollar.
