Erin Mills Town Centre is hosting the “Mind Your Own Business ” contest for local entrepreneurs, small business owners, start-ups and student business initiatives in the Mississauga region. Businesses and students are invited to apply for their chance to win one of three grand prizes. The deadline for applications is Monday September 7th at 7pm. All entries are to be sent to email@example.com or submitted to Erin Mills Town Centre Guest Services Kiosk located on the lower level near centre court.
Developing great exposure for a new business or product is difficult without the proper connections. Erin Mills Town Centre is providing three lucky winners the opportunity to set up a free kiosk to showcase their product, service or business ideas during the busy holiday season, this November and December.
The winners will be ranked based on their business proposal submissions. The second and third place winners will be given the chance to set up a free kiosk for two weeks during the month November to display their business model.
The grand prize winner of the Mind Your Own Business contest will have the opportunity to feature their product for the entire month of December, a $25,000 prize value. With millions of consumers walking through the Erin Mills Town Centre during the busy month of December, it’s a fantastic way to build some momentum for sales and more importantly get the brand into the retail market.

For the next year the new infinity fountain at Erin Mills Town Centre is taking wishes – for Eden Food for Change.
Lots of people, especially children, like to toss coins into a fountain and make a wish. It’s a fun thing for people to do. Now those wishes will actually have a multiplying effect as Eden Food for Change (EFFC) has been selected as the designated charity for all the coins tossed into the fountain for the next year.
With people throwing coins of varying donations, they do add up to have a greater impact. Since June, EFFC has already received $259. This is impactful because when the organization receives financial donations they can buy the food that is needed such as healthy fresh food like eggs, milk and fruits and vegetables. Also, when they have to purchase non-perishable items they can stretch that dollar.
Currently EFFC can distribute $50 of food for every $10 the receive in financial donations. Continue reading Make a wish – Grant a Wish at Erin Mills Town Centre
